My name is Michael Abramovich, and I've spent years operating identity for managed security providers — the unglamorous day-2 work of keeping identity under control across many clients, long after the products are "deployed."
These days I'm also the founder of Aurelion, a source-available take on the same problem from the build side. I split my time between Málaga and Boston, which mostly means I read incident reports on planes and stay reliably jet-lagged in two hemispheres at once.
This site is where I write the analysis I always wished existed: forensic breakdowns of real identity incidents, strictly at the identity layer, and notes on the operational reality most vendor content skips.
Why the focus on the last mile? Because that is where the work actually lives — the gap between a product being deployed and identity being under control, the part that no vendor owns and most teams have no time for. The incidents I break down keep landing in that same gap, and naming it plainly is more useful than another vendor explainer.
